Student expenses vary depending on the type of program, type of student, and number of units students are enrolled in. We wanted to make budget planning as easy as possible for all students regardless of their program type and life style.

In collaboration with our java developer, we created a responsive calculator that allowed students to capture all possible expenses for the term.

In order to capture all types of expenses, different questions were presented based on the answer selected from the first question. This allowed us to accurately calculate a total based on the students citizen ship.

Students have the option to enroll in courses or to apply for a work term, coop. If courses is selected, a series a dropdown menus appear.

Students can enter in their own expense type and costs at the end of the form. They also have to option to add more expenses.

The calculator provides an estimated total and a breakdown of all the students expenses.
